Welcome to Acklam Whin Primary School

We have a very dedicated and hardworking staff who ensure all our children are safe, respected and responsible. We provide the best teaching and learning experiences through a creative and engaging curriculum. Our children’s social, emotional, moral, academic and physical development is at the heart of everything we do. We work in partnership with our families so that every child is supported.

Mrs Prince, Head Teacher

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum provides opportunities for all children to develop as independent learners and reflective thinkers who are able to grow in confidence and resilience. We aim for our pupils to leave us with our aims and values of being socially responsible, independent, respectful and resilient and able to make a positive contribution to their community and wider society.

These values serve as the foundation of our community and shape our interactions, decisions, and overall approach to education.  We strive for academic and personal excellence in all aspects of our school community. We believe in setting high standards and encouraging our students to reach their full potential.
